New Year’s Eve Dresses for 2016

In these times of political turmoil and economic anxiety, it feels impossible to talk about anything other than how to get ahead in 2016, especially in New York City. New York is the city of dreams, but its also the city of deadlines, pressure, and that one person you can’t say no to. You know the kind.

Nothing says “I’m thinking about you” like a well-chosen dress that you feel confident in. Take this dress, for instance. It’s a super flattering fit with an A-line shape, giving you the full look from the neck to the hips, while the scoop neckline, three-quarter length sleeves and keyhole detailing boosts your confidence.

For those of you in my generation (I’m talking late 30s/early 40s here), New Year’s Eve is synonymous with sparkly dresses. While I’m not personally a fan of the sequins and heavy jewelry, I am an advocate of pretty party dresses.
