It’s time to learn how to utilize a curling wand now that you’ve mastered the curling iron. A curling wand is a clipless curling iron that becomes bigger at the top and smaller as it goes down. It’s a fantastic tool since it produces flawless, natural-looking waves. With a normal curling iron, it’s more difficult to get the more natural appearance, but now that I’ve found out how to use this new instrument, I’m hooked! It comes highly recommended from me. Steps 1 through 4:
Begin by curling the wand with your right hand. Hold it over the left side of your head, upside down. Hold a half-inch to one-inch strand of hair in front of the curling wand. Wrap the hair around the wand with your free hand, away from your face. It’s important not to touch the hot wand – this is the difficult part! However, the more you practice, the less difficult it becomes. I prefer to begin by wrapping the hair from the root to the ends, gradually bringing my hand down to the ends as I wrap the hair.
Make careful to leave an inch of the wand’s ends exposed to keep it straight. You may straighten the ends once you’re done or straighten your hair before you start curling (which is what I do). You’ll achieve an edgy appearance with straight, blunt ends this way. Pull the wand up and gently release your hair. After removing the wand, I like to pull the ends of the hair down to make the curl more wavy and less tight.
Steps 8–10:
Switch hands now to work on the opposite side of your head. Turn the wand upside down and hold it over the right side of your head with your left hand. Make sure the pieces are curled away from your face once again. Spray with a flexible hold hairspray after you’ve curled your whole head. Then go ahead and design it anyway you like!
