Interesting food for thought. It always surprises me how many older people have macs. Maybe the apple mac will turn into one of the brands like Levi’s and Virgin Mobile, that have a youthful image, but a customer base that is actually very middle aged. In time, maybe Apple will become more synonymous with mid life crisis, than cool…

Great article,think though with the high profile apple mac has it is inevitable that it attracts consumers my dad for one a pensioner for goodness sake!More well aimed and consumer friendly advertising will make other brands more high profile and desirable.
