I wonder how many of those 'macho' guys can use a washing machine.
Come to think of it, why aren't they pink?

Totally agree Kharina. Yes the pink thing is just so irritating; it smacks of a bunch of marketing guys sitting in a room saying 'we need to target women. i know, lets do a pink version. that will keep them happy.' Clearly, there is a market for pink. Young girls love it but there's a group of women who would never dream of owning a pink laptop. I am one of them!

I reckon women will feel very insecure when walking into a male dominated area full of gadgets if they are not clued up on what they want. The equivalent for men would be walking into Agent Provocateur buying their lady friend something saucy only to realise they have no idea what bra size she's got. Personally, being a total geek I don't have such issues. What I find irritating is when men assume you don't know anything, eg. "You are female so you text a lot and like pink phones".... sheesh!

Carphone Warehouse isn't that bad. You can always dismiss them and they will leave you alone, unlike the vultures at Phones4U, those guys have psychological issues.

I love the concept behind Geek Squad!
Although I have to admit, as a pretty tech-savvy girl, I don't like asking for help (I was obviously male in a previous life)...

But upon the arrival of my new Blackberry yesterday, I had to admit defeat and ask for help. Which made me feel like a stupid girly-girl!

Personally I think it's technology that should sort it out!
Women shouldn't have to embrace technology... technology should embrace US and become more user-friendly (a la iPod).
